The following shall serve as an agreement of service between Tidy Tails To Go LLC ( the business / groomer) and you (the client / owner) Terms may be subject to change.
1. Pet Condition and Services
Pets are accepted for grooming only under the following conditions:
All grooming will be performed at the owner's own risk. All pets must be fit and healthy for grooming. Grooming may expose pre-existing health and skin conditions, for which Tidy Tails To Go LLC cannot be held liable. Risk factors may be higher on elderly or infirm pets and should be taken into consideration when choosing if mobile grooming is right for your pet.
Rabies vaccination records must be up-to-date and kept on file with Tidy Tails To Go LLC. Should proof of vaccination be necessary, and is not already on file, you will be able to provide vaccination documentation immediately upon request.
Safety and comfort is always the goal, however in the event of an emergency where you cannot be reached Tidy Tails To Go LLC is authorized to seek emergency veterinary care on your pet’s behalf and at your expense.
Nail trimming / filing and ear cleaning are included unless otherwise specified by the owner. These services may be omitted at the groomer’s discretion if they pose a safety risk or cause undue stress to the pet.
With your pet’s safety and comfort in mind our groomers will always use their best judgment for completing the groom. If your pet’s behavior or stress level prevents completion of the groom, the full grooming price still applies.
Senior pets and pets with unique handling requirements will take extra compassion and care, therefore additional fees will apply.
“De-matting" or complete coat removal will dramatically alter your pet's appearance. This procedure may expose pre-existing health\skin problems for which Tidy Tails To Go LLC cannot be held liable.
Our groomers will always do an inspection of your pet upon arrival and in the bathtub. Your groomer will notify you of anything they find during the grooming process.There is always the possibility of cuts, nicks, or burns during the grooming process. There are also times when mat burns may appear after the groom is complete. This is not caused by the groomer being careless, but the severity of the mats. Should any cuts occur during the grooming process, we will notify you and advise you on how to treat these. Injuries caused due to the condition of the dogs matting is NOT the responsibility of Tidy Tails To Go LLC and any vet costs due to these are at the expense of the owner.
Complete payment of all charges is due at the time of service. Payments may be made in cash, check, or credit card. Clients using credit/debit cards will be sent an invoice after services are performed with a link to a secure online portal for payment and must be paid the day of service. If unpaid after 3 days, Tidy Tails To Go LLC reserves the right to charge the card on file and add an additional 20% gratuity. A convenience fee of 4% may be charged for use of credit/ debit cards. Returned checks will incur a $35.00 processing fee.
Tidy Tails To Go reserves the right to refuse service to any pet or client for any reason.
2. Appointment Windows and Cancellation Policy
Appointment start times have a 30 minute grace period. Pets must be initially available 30 minutes before to 30 minutes after the scheduled start time.
Mobile based grooming can be difficult to schedule, every reasonable effort will be made on the part of the groomer to keep every scheduled appointment. Tidy Tails To Go LLC does reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any groom based on the groomer’s discretion. Every effort will be made to reschedule appointments cancelled or postponed by the business.
Clients must provide Tidy Tails To Go LLC a minimum of 24 hours notice prior to scheduled appointment time for any cancellations. Cancellation and rescheduling of an appointment within the 24 hour window will incur a fee of no less than the entire cost of the cancelled service.
An appointment is considered a ‘no-show’ when the client / pet is not available at the scheduled appointment time and does not contact the groomer to cancel or reschedule prior to the appointment time. ‘No-show’ appointments will be charged a fee of no less than the FULL amount of the scheduled service. Cancellation and no-show fees may be waived based on individual circumstance.
3. Inclement Weather
As a mobile based business our ability to perform services is dependent on safe driving conditions. Tidy Tails To Go LLC reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule any appointments set for days when weather conditions create unsafe or hazardous driving conditions. This includes but is not limited to snow, ice, rain and wind.
Owners are responsible for snow removal and providing a safe and clean parking location. Groomers may choose to deny services should walkways or driveways be unsafe or unclear of snow and other debris. If we are unable to groom due to unsafe property conditions, our no-show fee will apply.
